We love anything 90s and related to Tavi in some way. So, it's about time we talk about the constantly mentioned, beautiful quirky teen show...My So-Called Life. The 1994-95 small-screen cult hit stars cool kids Claire Danes and Jared Leto and follows their lives at Liberty High. Angela Chase (Danes), 15, is attempting to discover herself just like every other teen as she avoids the 'rents and befriends wild child Rayanne Graff (A.J. Langer) and resident gay boy Rickie Vasquez (Wilson Cruz). In the midst of her ever-changing life and hair color, she ditches goody goods Sharon (Devon Odessa) and Brian Krakow. Of course, there's love in the good-looking, grungy ~Jordan Catalano~ (Leto) who Angela just can't help but fall for. Enough talking, here's what it's all about.
Tragically, the show only lasted one season (19 episodes). It leaves off on a cliffhanger (I have 2 episodes left and I'm putting off watching them as soon as possible...it can't end!)
As corny as it is, anyone can relate to it. It's like a classy 90s version of Degrassi. A dyslexic guitar player, a nerdy old friend, a good girl gone bad, a gay kid and even a teenage alcoholic...that equals a plethora of wise words of wonderful wisdom, life lessons and diary-esque monologues.
Pardon me while I go grieve over the show's cancellation~
