BOOM! You've been hit with the spirit of TSP Christmas week. Now, I know I see this in every movie post I do...but how on earth has anyone not seen this movie...?

Meet Will Ferrell, an "elf"...raised by elves.

He's not very good at elf activities, as he's about twice the size of the other elves.  Well, when Buddy realizes he's not really an elf (you don't say...) he searches for his real papa. He travels from the North Pole to the majestic, magnificent New York City.

 There, he stalks his father, experiences his first escalator ride and discovers the drunken mall Santa isn't the real guy. (What??????)

Oh, and he falls in love with Zooey Deschanel! He romantically follows her singing voice and sits in the work bathroom while she takes a shower, singing along with her in an ever-so-charming duet.

It really is an adorable movie. There are a plethora of movies to watch during Christmas (Polar Express, How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Home Alone being among my cheesy favorites) but this one is a must watch every single year.
